Adopt-a-lot

We met with Abbey Wagman from the City yesterday to look at possible city-owned lots that we can adopt (lease for $1 per year). We applied for 2302, 2304, and 2306 North 6th Street (the area in red). These lots are at one corner of our block. Once we receive the official approval we plan to keep it mowed, plant donated flowers, and keep it looking nice. It would be cool to transition these lots into a meditation garden with some pathways and benches. We'll see how that goes.
