Emerald St Neighborhood Cleanup is ON

The Emerald St Neighborhood Cleanup IS happening ... this Saturday, 9/12/09. We're starting at 9am on the corner of 6th & Emerald.

Involvement:
* neighbors of Emerald St, Curtain St, 5th & 6th Streets (those between Emerald& Curtain)
* Harrisburg Young Professionals
* a few members of City Council
* Classic Landscaping
* Bobcat Company
* York Waste Disposal

Projects Include:
* cleanup of 510 & 512 Emerald Street (empty city lots)
* cleanup of abandoned lot on Curtain St
* painting over graffiti on a garage on Clover Alley
* trash pickup
* removal of tall weeds

If you can make it for even an hour or so at some point during the morning, that would be great! If you arrive after 9am, just look for a bunch of people, or call one of us (Nate 645-9109 or Cindy 802-0308).
