Door-to-door

This evening we went door-to-door on Curtain St (that's one street over from us). We met lots of people and handed out flyers for our next cleanup (Aug 29th). We were well received and even had a few significant conversations! One lady is renting out the house that she used to live in as a way of helping someone get on their feet, the same way that someone had once helped her. One young boy asked what we were doing and when we told him that we would like him to join us for a neighborhood cleanup he said, "I want to help!"

We will be doing more door-to-door on Emerald St very soon and we'll get to a few more houses on Curtain St that we didn't get to before it started getting dark today.

You know it's a God thing when the best part of my day was spent meeting and talking to people (considering the fact that I'm quite the introvert)!
